"Catherine's crank arm fell off and none of had the odd hex wrench required, several miles from trail road access. A rig was made where Mary G could pull Wacha via rope from her e-bike. The initial attachment to Wacha's bike was unstable and caused a pretty gnarly crash into the ditch on the side of the trail. Catherine, as badass as ever, all scraped up, laughed it off. Incredible sport."

John's never been to biscuit world

"A group of us once biked to Tudor's Biscuit World, but halfway there, John veered off the trail and wiped out. Hannah then accidentally ran over his back and used his head as a ramp to catch some air. We don't think John even remembers the trip, and whenever we bring it up, he just talks about wanting to try their biscuits like he's never been."

Somehow, a wreck made the day better

"Kristin bit it hard outside of Burghers in the South Side and that part was kind of rough, but while she was getting patched up we ran into a bunch of bike friends inside Burghers, which led to a bunch of us drinking beers while lounging on the nets of the Shore Thing for the rest of the evening. Honestly, the wreck kinda sucked but ended up making a great evening."
