Best of Awards 2025

GIVE UP Best of Awards: Because the other awards in town weren't "bikey" enough.

Pittsburgh's friendliest degenerate bike club is taking matters into our own hands. We've seen the local "Best Of" awards—and while they're fine for brunch spots and artisanal dog bakeries, they're sorely lacking in bike vibes. So we're launching our own: the GIVE UP "Best Of" Awards, celebrating the people, places, and moments that make Pittsburgh's bike scene weird, wonderful, and worth pedaling through.

How It Works

• Phase 1: Nominations open September 12. Nominate your favorites in a bunch of local bike-centric categories.
• Phase 2: Voting starts September 28, when the top nominees in each category go head-to-head (or spoke-to-spoke?) for the win.
• Winners revealed at our season-end party in October, where we'll toast the champions, heckle the runners-up, and probably spill beer on someone's top tube.

The Rules

Daily Limits

• You get one nomination per category per day.
• You get one vote per category per day.
• The clock resets at midnight, so come back tomorrow and do it all again!

Nominations will be submitted for moderator approval before they will be publicly visible. (Yes, this is because we don't trust the public.)

This is open to everybody who bikes in the Pittsburgh area, not just GIVE UP.
